I really like my A'pexi Dunk exhaust, but need a 2.5 inch exhaust for more power. What would happen if I were to run custom 2.5 inch exhaust pipng w/ the Dunk Muffler? Would there be a huge difference b/c of the bottle neck? or is it too far away that it would even matter since the muffler is pretty free flowing.

I think a bottleneck is a bottleneck regardless of where it is. I've seen HUGE losses on the dyno with just the addition of a silencer if that tells you anything.

 

the apexi dunk is 2.5 outside diamater. and I mesured the Inside diamater at 2.36 before I put mine on.

 

has anybody ever tried to mate up 2.5 inch exhaust piping to a 60mm muffler?
