vtec problems

93 b17a gsr vtec would hit, but it would hit like 8 times, going in and out. now it wont hit at all. im thinkin oil pres switch, but we changed that and new vtec sylnoid. any suggestions

Seems obvious, but have you checked the oil level?

Same thing happened to me. It was my oil level.

When did the problem start. before or after?

the car has full oil, royal purple 20/50 its what the guy had in the car before me, i know its something to do with oil, but its got plenty in it, is it possible oil pump gear or oil sending unit, or some sensor action.
