Who has stroked their b16a using an OEM crank, other than a b17??
just wondering who has done it, what exactly their setup is, and how they like it?
i am curious to find out how eager the motor is to rev, either more or less. that is my main concern when making my final decision about the stroking, b/c a sluggish b16 with a little more torque would be not worth it to me. thanks.
edit: what other things did you have to change to complete the stroking process. obviously you'd need either custom rods and oem pistons, or visa versa, or custom everything. anyproblems with clearances down under? trimming or shaving of anything necessary?

there was one guy who put a b20a (the 2L prelude crank) crank into a b16
what was his user name, damn you brain damn you LOL what the hell was his username. ****
Its somthing i want to try.
Resleeve for 84 mm bore, a deck plate to bring it to the same deck high as a b18, b20a crank, 12.5:1 compression, skunk stage 2s (maybe just stage1s cause it probably will not rev that high), custom smps header, maybe some carbs, oooo
Now thats a sleeper of a b16

i bought my 1.8L From TopFuel n i know they used the oem b18 crank n rods and custom made the piston (and i think is the CTR spec 81mm)and before i forget, with a deckplate as well.never dyno it.but will be when i get my head done.
you can put an ls crank and ls rods in a b16 block with a cusotm piston and be 1.8 or if u sleeve the block to 85 mm it will be a 2.0 b16
