Mugen chip and VCN2000 compatibility?

Mugen chip and VCN2000 compatibility?
I just dropped a JDM H22 into my 94 Accord but I'm having a bit of a delimma.
I already have a venom VCN2000 and I am trying to decide whether I should just get a stock P13 ECU or a P13 with the Mugen chip.
I am being told that the variable timing I will get with the chip will cause problems when I try to spray(i.e. blow up the engine). Supposedly the chip will give me better low end power but the spray will give better high end.
Does anyone know anything about the Mugen chip and it's compatibilty with nitrous? Can I do both the chip AND the nitrous without breaking everything?
I just want to know which will haul more ***.
