anyone with a CM flywheel?
I have it. Got it installed at the same time as my ClutchSpecialties stage 2 clutch and 98 Spec R tranny. Needless to say, I was overjoyed that day. Huge difference.
As far as the flywheel, great quality, significantly lighter but very streetable. No stalling or need to readjust the idle and not hard to drive at all. Definitely revs up quicker and keeps them up there. Of course some of the reason my revs stay up so high is my super tight tranny.

so is it worth the nearly $600 for parts and labor or should I use that money for something else like cams, etc??? I know the engine would rev quicker, but to give me and idea, how much quicker 2x, 3x???
I really want to get one, but i am making sure it's the right mod for me at this time. My car only has 21k miles, should I wait until I need to replace the clutch as well? how long does the stock clutch last? thanks

If its going to cost you $600. I would go for some cams...this would increase HP and torque. As for the lightened flywheel, it will only rev quicker, no doing much for you overall numbers, and nothing really to increase engine power. In summary cams give you more bang for the buck. But if you live in Ca or NY/NJ and worry abt emissions, then maybe u should reconsider the cams.
Factory clutches can last to lil over 100K miles with avg driving including some city driving. Much faster wear if you beat on it and do burn outs.
