Full tune -up

Default Full tune -up

besides the basics (cap,plugs,wires,etc) before i put my motor in (94 ls) what else would you reccomend (while its out) replacing/checking? i want my motor to run like new

Full tune up consists of:

- Fuel filter replacement
- Cap/Rotor, spark plugs, spark plug wires
- Oil Change/Oil filter change
- Coolant flush and change

Pretty simple.

also recommended:

transmission fluid (for clutch type LSDs)
check brake pads/shoes
check radiator hoses
check axles
check steering rack

timming belt, timming belt tensioner, water pump, balancer shaft belt.

LS doesn't have balance shafts

sorry, F owner here, i forgot that the under 2lt didn't have balancer shafts.

It's all good. It's those lil B series don't have to worry about lil luxory shafts up in the motors.
