REALLY bad noise?
alright...so i am COMPLETELY freaking out. i have an 00 b16 in an 00 hatch running the usdm ecu. so here it is...
A. car feel like it doesn't want to go...very sluggish.
B. at around 2500-3000 what i assume are them cams get really loud...a high pitched spinning noise.
C. at idle, which is a tad high, it sounds kinda like a diesel engine...a chugging kind of sound.
D. the idle itself is a little weird...just in general.
i checked the oil, full and color and smell our good. where do i begin? i was running rich for a while with basically no o2 and now i am running without my secondary...causing a code for ONLY that. any help would be greatly appreciated. i will answer any more questions...but hopefully i covered everything.

i guess i will 'try' and check the timing tomorrow...never did it before but i guess i can give it a shot. its hard to pin point the sounds because at idle only the chugging can be heard...and then its faint compared to being on the throttle. it sucks because i have to drive my car to work tomorrow...about 4-5 miles...i might just walk. is there any place you can just drive in to and get something like timing checked? other than a dealership?

please explain the noises a little better;chugging?
as far as timming just go buy a timming light, its real easy to check timming and you got to learn sometime, right?

its so damn hard to explain noises...its not a clicking...its not a banging. it doesn't sound horrible...it just doesn't sound right. lets say the timing belt slipped a tooth...is driving it going to severely hurt the motor? i know this sounds dumb but i have already driven it about 7-10 miles since it started.
