Can 17 inch wheels with a 50mm offset fit an Acord ?
Hi. I am new here.
can 17 inch, 50 offset, 5 x 114.3 wheels 7 inches wide fit an Accord ?
Also, I am trying to list some stuff for sale but can't. Are there any restrictions (like number of posts) before you can post in the classified section

What year accord? If its 94-97 then it has to be 4x114...not sure but might be 40mm offset... and you can post in the classifieds until you are a member.

4x114 and 4x114.3 is used interchangably (sp?) so i've noticed, so they're the same thing. as for the rims fitting, i'm not sure what the v6 bolt pattern is, but it is a 5 lug pattern, but i'm not sure if its a 5x114.
are these going on a 4cyl or v6?

I have +55 offset CL-S wheels that are 17x7(225/45/17) and fit fine on my 6th gen coupe. I had a bad alignment and they barely rubbed the innerfender in front at full lock, but its fine when the wheels are toed correctly. So +50 should be fine if its a 6th or 7th gen which it prolly is due to 5 lugs.
yeah,,,,,50mm offset will fit...but you cannot go any higher then that....otherwise it will run inside .......and your tire choices are limited w/ that offset .....45mm is perfect.
depends on the year of your car and your tire size. if you have a 6th gen, i think they have more room for wider wheels than 5th gens.
on a 5th gen the wheel should clear the knuckle... but just barely. you probably wont be able to use balancing weights on the inner lip, as 6.5" wide +55 offset wheels (about same situation as you as far as offsets) on an accord will be too close and will knock the weights off. Your tires may or may not rub, depending on the width you choose.
you would be better off choosing an offset in the low 40's... thou that would push the wheel out towards the fender.
