Earl Scheib Paint Quality?
Does anyone have any experiences with this place? Also, do any of you have any pix of how their paint jobs look like. They seem like a reputable place, and seem quite affordable.
it's depends..your best chance with cheap paint job is to prep it yourself, sand it and do all the preping at home.
you know, tape up all the grille thingie and take out the bumper and headlights to make it foolproof.

their paint may be okay, thought their prep may leave a lot to be desired.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Exactly, dont cheap out on key stuff like this. I woudl rather spedn $1,500-2k on a paintjob and get good quality then $300 and my car looks like **** in 2-3 months. Do it right or don't do it at all.

I have personally seen an Earl Scheib Paint job and it was absolutely disgusting. The paint doesn't shine for ****, they sprayed on a bunch of the rubber, the paint is rough to the touch, there was a bubble on the trunk, and I don't think they even took their time prepping the car at all. If you looked at the car almost parallel to it, on a normal paint job you should see the car shine (if its clean of course). On the Earl Scheib painted car it was incredibly dull, you can't even see a reflection in the paint... Earl Scheib =

If you car is in really bad condtion (mismatched colors and **** bad) sure take it to earl for a quick spray job. But if all it is, is that your paint isn't as shiny or lack luster you might be better off leaving it alone until you can get a real paint job.
mine turned out awsome. i paid 300$ for a crx complete job.
you cant compare a 3,000$ to it at all but if you dont give a **** like me
it's worth the money. i beat the **** out of my car there for i cant see spending
alot of money on a paint job.

my other car was done right and was very expensive, but if some one is going for "show "then macco or earls is not the way to go. i know one day the rex will be hitting the wall.i gotta say make sure you you do all of your preping befor hand.
good thing i didnt have my cat back on they sprayed over my stock muffler.
