I know this isn't really part of the thread, but if you plan to keep the car past the lease terms, it doesn't make much sense to lease one....

At what they're selling for right now though I think you're better off leasing, driving to redline all the time, autox'ing it as much as possible, and just giving it back at the end of the lease term. The trade-in on mine is less than I owe....

leasing is one of the biggest scams ever. If i was you i would just buy a used one and when your finished paying for it, it will actually be YOUR car and not the dealers.

Leasing some cars makes sense. You just have to figure, if you buy it, will you owe more on it than the car is worth when you sell it. If you will, then lease it, at least you can just give it back without any penalty (given you stayed within your milage). Also if you wanna do stuff to it, don't lease it.

if you own your own business, you can write off up to $600 / month

thats why many lease. so you dont personally have to pay for it

I wouldn't wait too long to get a good lease.. at least not until winter... when 04s come out then they will want to get rid of the 03s really quickly.... thats kinda how I got the car... its the last 03 they had... and they wanted it sold... my payments are with tax included... my plans are to save 10k and put that into the down and purchase it before too long... I did it now because they gave me too much for my car and they found out too late.... so I took advantage of it... they almost gave me as much as I would have gotten selling the car to a private party. Solely the reason I did it now.
