i'm doing this for a buddy of mine... tonite he was driving home with his 91 CRX Si with a CAI and he drove through a puddle.. now his car doesn't move... i had to push it home ... and he wants me to go work on it tomorrow for him... wut do i do to dry it out?? or is there no help???

Well he sucked up a puddle and probably hydrolocked the engine.

 

ouch, will the motor turn at all? He may have hydrolocked it, id say take the plugs out and turn the engine over and try to pump all the water out of the motor, and change the oil and clean the plugs. Hopefully he didnt stress a rod too much

 

well... it turns over ... i know that casue the kid started it up after i told him no.... but when it runs it studders really bad.... so i told him to shut it off and i'm gonna take a look at it tomorrow.... so just take the plug wires out and startin it to clean it out???? dont i have to take the intake off too????

 

should run fine by tommrow but if not change the spark plugs and it should be fine.
