Hey guys, I don't know much about the SOHC breed of Honda, and will be the first to admit it. I have a valve cover from a 95 SOHC non-vtec engine, and would like to know what engines this will fit? My best guess would be an 89-00 SOHC non-vtec Honda? I'm not sure? Please help!!

I don't know about 89+, but it should have all Ds from 92-2000

Yeah,def wont fit 89-91s

 

if it is from a dx or cx it will fit on all 88-91 civic engines, 92-95 cx and dx. will not fit on 92-95 si, ex or vx, or any 96 up engines.

 

Ok cool.. So what if it's not from a CX/DX? I know it's not from a Z6 head.. . It's from a 1.5 of some sort. This is still true then?

So, any 1.5, so all 88-91, and 92-95 CX and DX cuz they're the 1.5? Man, I just don't know what car it came from? Would a pic help?

main difference is spark plugs are on the back for 1.5 vs the front for 1.6 heads
