is it safe to install a amp under the drivers seat?
like title says ....nothing big or anything like 4-5 hundred watts...will the amp get enough air circulation and will it get too hot? thank you
Yes. If it can't handle it, and you have the correct impedance load, it's a pos. There will be enough air circulation down there and when you have the ac on, cold air falls. It's not like your stuffing in a sealed box.
What amp you using?

I have my Sony amp that's pushing my rear 6 x 9's under my front seat and I haven't had any overheating problems or the amp shutting down at all

My sub amp runs 10x cooler than my stupid frontstage amp.
