Default Possible piston ring problem?

For the past 2 weeks almost, my car has smelled like its burning a vicious oil.

Ive checked my air filter (stock airbox) and there doesnt seem to be a trace of oil in there.

I checked to see if there was any coolant in the oil or vice versa, which my friend told me could lead to a possible head gasket problem.

The car lets out a light blue smoke, but only once in a while, and when I "step" on it, it lets out a "puff" of this light blue stuff :/

Also, it smells awfully bad inside when I drive it around daily...which leads me to strongly beleive the rings are shot...

Which leads me to my uber-rebuild, which is gona cost about 4k muahaha..

Any suggestions on if my rings are dead, before I spend a crap load of money on my car?

I agree with the bad cat theory. If the inside of your car smells you have something wrong with the exhaust system, most likely the cat. Check the gaskets at the cat. Check the exhaust header isn't cracked and the gasket there too. When was the last time the valves were adjusted?
If your rings were bad you would have blue smoke more often plus, you really have to drive the **** out of a Honda engine to make the rings fail. One thing Honda Does know about is piston rings.

Do a leakdown test to determine if your rings are bad. Im not sure if there are any how-tos on this, but a tester should be available at your local parts store.
