Air Condition Problem...
recently some weird white smoke been coming through the AC after its been on for a bit, wondering could it be my ac's running low? or am i leaking coolant somewhere, i think "white=coolant" if im not wrong? correct me if i am. thanks
White smoke from air ducts is simply cool air w/ condensed water vapor. This usually happens when the evaporator is freezing. Air flow usually diminishes as iced up evaporator blocks air flow path. If you turn the AC off and observe the evap drain, you should see a large puddle of water accumulate as the ice block melts.
Freezeup can be caused by undercharged AC system, bad expansion valve, or someone "tweaking" the thermostat system to lower compressor cut-off temperature.
good luck

The expansion valve is located w/ the evaporator in the evaporator box. As noted above, you must recover charge in the system to release the evaporator connnections.
Expansion valves rarely fail.

It is part #11 in the picture. It is located in the evaporator case which is behind the glove box.
