i had this DOHC ZC/d16a1 gasket set just laying around in my closet and i didn't eve know it was there!!! i was just curious whether this head gasket for the d16a1 integra will fit a d16a6 i'm 99% sure that all sohc d series gaskets are interchangeable because people use d16z6/d16y8 etc to raise and lower compression..

but anyway i just wanted to make sure the d16a1 would fit on the d16a6?

 

The A1 is a DOHC... it won't wory for a SOHC.

 

yeah i was thinking that but i guess the only way would be to take off my head and match it up which i was going to do anyway but i was just wondering...

Dude, the actual head of the DOHC is bigger than the SOHC... just think logically!

It wouldnt fit the a6 at all.....nor the ZC....it's useless! Unless you have a 86-89 teg thats needs it.

 

Still got these gaskets? And what type/manufacturer? And are they new? I may be interested.
