So i am removing my JDM header from the car. Got every thing unbolted and the damn thing won't come out.
What is the trick to getting a one peice header out of the enging bay.

 

If you are looking at the header straight on (standing on front of headlights), jack up the car. Then you will need to angle the left side of the header down first before you drop the right side. It will only slide out one way.

 

Unbolting the fans and moving the AC lines can sometimes help.

 

just drop it down and finaglew it, it swill come with patience

 

You can unbolt 3 of the 4 bolts on the a/c condensor allowing you to swing it and clear enough room to drop the header easily.

 

man me being an idiot thought i could get it out with out moving the splash gaurd on the bottom. I figured it would push right past.
Well I moved the guard and the thing slipped right out. got it out and other header on in under an hour.

 

Plasma Cutter?

Wiggle it back and fourth. Helps to have your radiator fans off.

 

It isn't that hard to do.. i did it myself with some patience and thought process.
