Default cams on a s2k

what companies make cams and which is the best? please give the rpms where it improves the most

Toda makes a good set of cams, but they also push the valvetrain to the farthest limits so be careful.

thats why you also need to upgrade the valve train, definately need some beefier valve springs

are toda ver 2's out and is it safe to put a thinner spoon head gasket if u have toda cmas with the valvetrain

I can't say for sure, but the Toda pushes the valves out to the very limits so lowering the gasket size seems like a risky move. You may end up with the valves slapping the pistons

oos2kfan is correct. i think i even remember a note by toda saying how you shouldn't use a thinner head gasket for the obvious reasons. and yes the toda version 2's are out. a guy on http://www.s2ki.com has them, his name is beroz i think.

Razor, you are a tech right? How much is installation on a set of cams, valves and valve springs? And does anyone have a dyno chart for these cams?

BTW just parts you are looking at $1700 or so...

no im not a tech, i just work at the honda dealership. i also am not sure about the labor costs since i never asked. sorry.
