2000 si ecu in a 2000 itr????
Me and my friend was have a discussion about whether a 2000 si ecu is better than a itr. he has a 2000 py itr and i have a 97 itr. he said he was going to buy a 2000 si ecu and use. I was wondering is it actually better? whats the redline? will it work since 2000 and up integra's have a imobolizer? i know im right but just want to make sure.

don't waiste money on another factory obd2 ecu... although same injectors, type r shoud have higher fuel pressure, plus higher redline, different cams and other stuff..
best way is to custom tune your setup, - unless you have a lot done to your car, don't bother doing that neither..

not saying that this guy is a theif -- but the topics that he's created concern me a little...
hopefully i'm just paranoid.

I hope he is not planning on running an itr off a si ecu because it will not work. It could work after a couple modifications but this guy is an idiot if he is going to try to steal an itr with an si ecu. he deserves to be caught. Petty car thieves make my damn insurance go up.
if you plan on running an SI coupe ecu in a 99-01 ITR, make sure you swap the fuel pump relay pinout (A15 to A16 or vice versa, forgot) or else you might have starting problems due to fuel pump relay inactiveness...

Well I was really thinking the same thing.
