Vtec question
the question is my friend has a non vtec motor d16 but he thinks if he adds the cam out of the d16 si he will have a vtec. I said no because the ecu is different and you don't have all the sensors that a vtec block has and yada yada yada, but is there a slight chance he could be right.

The cam alone will not make it VTEC.
You need the WHOLE head and all the elecronic stuff that goes into making it work. ECU, etc.
Just my .02 cents
Thanks for the laugh though.
How old is this "friend", BTW?
