my typeS stands for typeStolen !!! =(
At about 10am this morning i walk outside to go to work.
My car is not there.
I knew something was wrong when my remote start didnt verify on my pager.
That's what I get for parking my car in northeast Philly I guess.
My best guess as well as the officer that came is that they just towed the vehicle.
Knowing the thieves in this area, it probably is in a million pieces by now, I don't have much hope that they will find it, or if they do, in any good condition at all.
So i guess this is farewell to typeSarah. -_-

That is the saddest thing I have heard in the longest time. I feel sooo BAD for you bro. I loved your car and the RS*R on that bad boy. Hope you get another type S to replace it ABP of course if you ever find those theives kick there ***. Drastic though needed a tow truck. SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS.

1-good u reported it
2-they automatically check if it's been towed or repoed before they take the report
3-insurance takes a while but unless you were way upside down on your loan you'll do ok
4- wait till u see how much the payout is if they don't recover itbefore u get a new one. i love my turbo rsx and all but i would probably get something else. sorry about your loss.

How would the thieves even be able to take it. With the engine immbolizer. Only way I would think to steal the car is tow it. I have looked into how to steal my own car so I could take the preventions and make sure that no one did it to my car. Only way I could come up to take the whole thing is to tow it.

Besides the factory immobolizer i had wire a custom starter cut off when i installed my alarm.
Besides that, I don't think im going to buy another typeS. im looking into a 4 door GC8.(98-01 2.5 RS) to make something like this :

I called Honda Finanacing even to be sure that i was on top of my payments. It was not towed by an authorized tow serivce, the officer scanned and checked for that. Someone just stole my f*ckin car. It really is none of your guys' business..but I had the car for about 2 months and I only had $10,000 left to pay on it. So yeah, I could afford those measly $240/month minimum payments.

Sorry to hear about your car man, that really sucks. Its also none of Hter's business to ask whether it was repoed or not. I dunno why someone would even post if their car got repoed. Anyway, good luck with your search.

Sorry to hear about that. So many people around here (DC Area) have had their SI's/RSX's stolen over the past several months. It's makes you want to sleep in your car with a 9mm and wait. God, I would love to catch someone trying to steal my car,
