im gonna buy an n1 muffler, ive already got catback, but i can get an n1 for 40 bucks from someone, i was just wondering how many people on here have the n1 and how does it sound. i heard one on an integra and it was sooo loud and sounded like ****.

 

I have one with a resonator and high flow cat, no silencer. it's not loud till you hit VTEC. Then it's obnoxious. It doesn't pop though like some exhausts.

 

does it kind of buzz or ya nkow sound ricey. the one on the teg did. im not too worried about the loudness *since mine is already loud as hell. but i want it to sound good.

but when i put it on im going to put another resonator on , i already have a little one.

 

it doesn't buzz, it doesn't pop. Once the catalyist heats up, it sounds great. If it sounded ricey, I wouldn't own it....I would point at it and laugh profusely.

 

haha. i guess if it sounded ricey no one on here would have one then, some of hte apex mufflers sound like *** though. my friend has a dump on his 240 and it sounds horrible.

There are so many ricers here in FL that have such shitty sounding exhausts, and they don't seem to care. I don't get how some of these people could NOT hear how shitty their exhausts sound...or maybe they just think it sounds cool because nobody has ever been able to sucessfully trap 3 million crickets in a tin can to hear what it would sound like, so they decided they're satisfied with the closest possible sound to that.. might not help but i just got the apexi WS system for my crx installed witha vibrant high flow cat and it is almost dead slient......... just a quiet deep tone and at high rpms all u hear is the intake......... im definitely in love with it......

 

i kinda like my car to be loud, not like open header loud, but like a real deep smooth loud tone.

 

Im interested in this 2, I have custom piping 2.25 and gutted cat to a midas performanc emuffler, thinkin bout takin muffler off and putting n1 turbo muffler canister on there, runnin out the stock left side for exhaust.... what do yall think?
