99si and ls crank gear???

99si and ls crank gear???
i have an ls motor that is missing a crank gear, but i have another one off a 99si and i was wondering if anyone knows if this crank gear will work on an ls. I already checked and the crank gear does fit, but i'm not sure if the teeth are the same...
