found this on the site at work.. cant find the thread you posted it on but anyways.. it can be done and works but dont know you would want to do this..

It is legal. You do not need a rearview window, or mirror on any car that has both side mirrors.

I think it's an interesting concept. Not something you see often. Beside, rearview mirrors are just luxuries.

my friend wired his so that when he pulls down his drivers side sun shade...its where a mirror would normally be.....looks pretty good and is totally hidden

it sucks if you want to put a cd in. you will have to go to youre trunk or where ever you hide it. in my book
