CTR pistons have enough clearance. All the parts? Umm Toda springs, injectors, good header/test pipe and lots and lots of tuning. THose are minimum requirements.

CTR Pistons will give you 12.2:1 in an ITR or 12.6 in a GSR
I'd reccomend
larger injectors
FPR
Short Ram Intake
Spoon or Toda Header
TI Retainers
Toda camgears & valve springs
J&S Safegaurd
and either a chipped ecu or even better a Hondata or Power FC and Dyno Tuning

I spoke SGT about the very same thing. He told me the AEM CAI style intakes made more power up to 4500 rpm's. After that the short ram style (specifically the ITR pipe that runs to your airbox with a K&N filter on the end) made more after 4500 rpm's. He dyno tested the two intakes.

I'd tend to take his word for it. He's one of the two fastest all motor ITR's on the board.

Well each car is different. We also tried a cold air setup compared to the short ram and lost significant power on the short ram with Spec C's. I guess buy two intakes, test and sell the one with less power.

CTR's have enough clearance?? Might want to look into that or clay it up before you drop those in with the C's as far as the ecu...POWER FC ...very user friendly and would be worth the money in the long run Just my 2 Yen

Of course, if you are REALLY serious, you would clay ANY piston you use with
high lift cams.
