Default Estimated WHP for a B18C1 bored to a 2 liter/stock head

I am planning on rebuilding the motor but at this point I really don't want to drop approximately $5K + for headwork(P&P/valvetrain/skunk2 stage 1 cams) & the Block(AEBS bore/piston/rods etc...).

If I only do the block with 12:1 compression with the stock head what estimated WHP will I be looking at? Right now, I am just doing a cost/benefit analysis. I don't whether I want to work on the head or block or just leave the Damn engine alone and start an entirely different project alltogether(240sx).

BTW, this car is autocrossed and driven several times a week. Thanks in advance.

Here's 12:1 compression. Stock bore though.

I've seen a setup like this 2 years ago I wont metion no names but it was a girl and she made 191 whp and 147 pounds of torque those sound like good numbers considering she just had a intake a dc header and pistons (12.1) JE! this should give you a idea

stock cams would be so damn restrictive. they would be holding back a good 20 HP

personally i think headwork is WWAAAAYYY better than block work. i know its all important, but if i could only have one, it would be HEAD... um.. i mean 'the head'. hehe

So is the consensus to work on the head as opposed to the block as the best bang for the buck?

I've seen setup like that run 12's at the track in a hatch back daily driven.
