Which Camaro do you have?
A good engine is one that come with the car. It's good as long as it'r trouble free.
No, Civics don't have a V6.
92-95 Civic are all the same. Get what ever that is in the best condition.
Price? 5K-7K for a 95 and no more than 100K miles on the clock.

It has 118,000 miles on it, but it is going very strong
I'm asking $5,500 for it, emal me at gremln69@hotmail.com if you want more info
It's fully loaded, and depending on where you live I can deliver

You could get a 95 civic dx(the cheapest) for under $9,000 and swap out the engine with a late model crx H22a engine, then you will have your v6 95 civic.
an H22 does not come in a crx. this guy doesn't know anything about hondas so be careful what you tell him. he is going to believe the first thing he hears most likely since he is trying to learn. an H22 is from a prelude just to set that straight. and it is not a V6 its a 2.2 liter four cylinder. and that swap is way to involved for someone who is just starting. teach the guy the basics first b4 you start talking about one of the hardest swaps for a civic. sorry to blow up, but there is so much misinformation on the internet. i swear, every time someone tells me some crazy idea that they had about their honda they got it off the internet.

Just one thing you gotta do before you get the civic. CUT OFF THE MULLETT!!! Bahahaha....... No seriously, just stick around the forum's and learn man. Civics can be had for pretty cheap, if I were you get one that isnt already modded up so you can do it yourself--maybe look for one that some old hag drives this way you'll know that it was never beat on. Definetly do a swap, and B-series motor will do
Also I would stay away from the show look, F spending loot on shoulder pads indiglo gauge lights, and 3 pairs of fog lights, go the sleeper look---you will get more props! Good luck, and welcome to the better side of the tracks.. But remember you gotta lose the mullet, OK

lol, this isn't the 80's. I'm 19 and from around here, Mulletts are popular.
Not to mention, if I did have a mullett, I'd have to drive a transam or something! heh http://www.mulletsgalore.com And thats one reason why I hate how people think about camaro's
Someone driving one has to have a mullet and drink beer 24/7
Well, for my defence, you should know I nothing like that if im going into Honda's for one, and that I like street cars (nothing rice tho)
Anywho,
Just wanted to say I wanted an EX Honda Civic which I heard was the better of them all.
Could anyone help me out with some really good honda links?? TO get good information and parts just in case I was to get one?? *continues to look*
And by the way, how much is a swap for the engines going to be?? It was pretty expensive when I was about to get an LT1 put into my camaro.
Oh, also, I am not interest in a hatchback civic or anything like that.
Thanks again

My favorite Civic of all is the 5th generation hatchback. Its a perfect design that just doesn't get old in my mind. This is probably the most popular honda of all time
No civic came with a V6 but swapping in one of the larger 4 bangers from an integra is easy. You can even stuff a prelude 2.2 liter engine in there if you are willing to sactifice some creature comforts.
Prices vary but expect to pay about $4,000-$5,000 for a clean 95 harchback in stock condition depending on trim level. For performance purposes people like the SI and EX models but if you plan to swap a bigger engine (highly recomended) get a CX or VX as they are the lightest of the civics.

I am not sure what it looks like but from what I have heard it has a b16a swap, turbo kit, plus standalone engine management...and it is streetable but runs 11's in the quarter mile!!!
all it needs is the engine management, and valvatrain...It runs 12s on street tires, with minimal boost, it's pretty sick. needs DFI and a dyno session, and its good to go. all of the dirtywork is done, and its only 13k...i've spent more than 20k on parts alone,.....im just sick of racing and want to get rid of it now. click the link in my sig and go to the Transportation page
Dude, this is *all* wrong. I know you got it from civic.vtec.net, but nevertheless--it's still incorrect weights. Subtract about 1000lbs and you are close to the weights. Maybe about 800 and you'd be spot-on.
