Should I Change My "A" Emblem?
Hey guys, I have a used vogue silver integra special edition and the Acura emblem on the back is a bit chipped. I was thinking of replacing it with one of those RED acura emblems. My question is, is this considered "lame"? I know this is more for the Type-R integras but I think it looks pretty cool and i just want a second opinion from you guys. Would the red emblem look good on a silver integra...LS ...
I had my JDM H on my lude for about 2 months then someone hit the car which got me a shaved rear end for free. Anyway as much as I love the red H or red A in your case I was always nervous someone would F up the paint stealing it. If you do go that route spend the extra $$$ and get teh genuine part the color looks different and it doesnt fade like some of the knock offs do.
Red A emblems should be on real ITRs only. It would be ricey and all the ITR guys will mock you along with many others. Same goes for the colored emblems.
I had a white set on my car at one point in time, but I was young and didn't know better. Someone pulled it off one night and I'm glad that they did. Looks sorta silly. I ended pulling the both emblems off and getting the holes filled. It looks nice shaven.
Basically, either keep it stock, change it to a stock H emblem, paint it black or shave it.
yeah i was considering the lame factor of it. i'm stickin with my stocks...i musta felt weird today for even thinkin of doin something like that. thanks for the help guys.

I agree, if you like it then do it, who cares.
One cool thing I saw once was someone using touch-up paint on their stock emblem. She used touch up paint to black out the emblem so it blended into her black car. Or do it with whatever color you want. I dunno, but it's a cheaper way to do it, and less likely to get jacked.

I have the red "A" emblems on my silver teg and it looks pretty good...in fact people comment on that before they do on my expensive set of rims... I ended up taking the front off and leaving it shaved, but I think the back emblem looks nice coupled with the red tail lights...just my opinion.
the only problem with putting aftermarket emblems on your car is that you might be changing them again after some punk jacks them off your car.otherwise i like the look of the red emblems on other cars besides the type R.

Yes, but the red "A" is found only on the ITR. IMO, and some of you will disagree the red "A" is one half of the special ITR specific badging and you shouldn't have any R badging unless it is an real ITR. It's sort of like someone taking a BMW 330ic and sticking on an M badge. Once again, just my opinion. Not to mention if you have these emblems which stand out, you're more likely to walk up to your car and find some prymarks and missing emblem. Just to clarify, I had white "A"s on my car at one point in time. But if you like them, go for it. just don't get one of those glow in the dark ones.
Peace dude.

ya...leave the indiglo emblems for Accords....HAHAHAHAHA.....jk.... seriously... if you like the aftermarket emblems...get 'em.... just make sure they match nicely with your ride, otherwise they'll be just like the San Francisco treat.....
Other than that....they do get stolen alot....why, I don't know....they cost what? $20 ? What do those punks do with 'em, put 'em on fake gold chains and wear them ? I, unfortunately, like my stock chrome 'blems.... which cost me $35 a pop to replace.....
