Does a Civic EX-R Exist??????
When I bough my 95 Civic, it came with a Civic Badge and a EX-R badge I took them both off because I wanted a clean look no emblems, well I kept the H one but nothing else. Now my question is, I haven't seen anyone else with an EX-R, or haven't found any info on an EX-R. I figured it was just an EX and the Emblem was fake but I flipped it over and it said HONDA >ABS< SV4 don't know what it means but it is from a Honda. I asked a friend and he said that there are EX-R's but not in the US. I'm kind of confused here, do they exist? Do I drive an EX or EX-R? What's the difference?
Thanks
Thanks

I've seen some running around NY in the past.

I live in canada and have never in my life seen an EX-R.
We have SIR's which are the equivalent to the si. But never heard of or seen EX-R.

Somebody probably took the EX-R badge off the Canadian 94-97 Accord and put it on the Civic to make it look cool. Thats all i can think of because i have never heard of a Civic EX-R.
Just go to a search engine and do a search for "Civic EXR" you will find a bunch of results... I could read most of them because they were in spanish I think.. You will also find a bunch of Accord EXR's also.. Try it.. I searched from google..
Ok then I have a Civic that came from Mexico, Canada, Europe, all in all it's still a Civic EX so I guess I have an EX and the EX-R badge will be long forgotten and I guess you really do learn new things everyday. Thanks to all who posted, maybe someday I will sell it and a loser will be all like wow a Civic EX-R?! Must be worth a lot!!
Too bad I cant figure out it's true origin.
