hood
i'm gettin a carbon fiber hood and i was wondering if the invader hood would help cool the engine becuase off the scoop being right on the engine... and also the predator hood.
well..not sure about cracking, but a lot of heat fluctuations could screw up the natural heat cycling of the header.. the end result probably is cracking or maybe warpage.
Heat definately escapes. One of my buddies has one and he accidental spilled some clutch fluid on his header. Smoke was pouring out of that vent. If smoke can rise out that much, then so can hot air.
