Can I drive 200 miles to the dyno on my untuned B18C5 w/ Toda C's safely?
I'm just curious if I will be safe driving 200 miles to the dyno on my current setup which is untuned at this time? I'm basically just running Toda Spec C's w/ portflow valvetrain, milled head, mugen two-layer headgasket, stock USDM ITR bottom end. I have the S200 system, but it's not really tuned at all. Is it safe? How bad will gas mileage be? Would be it be smarter to just pay a friend to tow it there?
I'm looking for ANY suggestions at this point, I want to have the car tuned hopefully for next weekend!

Last night was the first time I started the car with the new cams, and just drove it around the block. When I would get to around 2700 rpms, it would start to sputter and cut out a little. I didn't go much higher than 3200 rpms really. I have a couple more things that need to be done the the car before I can drive it around town much. Mind you, I'm still on the stock injectors which is probably the reason for the car sputtering soo much. (plus having a stock P28 program doesn't help).

Well i was in you shoes at one time. I drove around with toda c's, stock injectors, a 12.1 compression bottom end and a ls computer. I did it for around a month before i got my s200 tuned. I just didn't do anything stupid like passing 3k and driving hard. If i were you also, i would get toda valve springs...

Really? I thought a lot of people were saying that the Portflows would do just fine, as long as you didn't rev up a lot higher than about 9k?
I also won't be driving the car very aggressive at all, it's little scary when you know your stuff is untuned, and don't run all that great... Just my luck and something would break.
