hi im posting here because it wont let me post in the other forums...i dont post a lot so i don't really know how things work... but anyway i totalled my 5th gen prelude recently and i was just wondering what am i suppose to do now? i called the DMV but they were just being ******** and i got no where with them. i want to part the car out and sell the motor, interior, etc. then take the rest of the car to the junkyard. the registration renewel just came so do i pay the PNO fee or do i "junk" the car? someone told me to junk it which means i give the title and stuff to the DMV? if i do junk it to the DMV am i still able to sell the motor and other parts from the car? also after the accident someone stole the rear license plate from my car. what do i do about that as well? i'm lost and don't know what to do so if someone can help me i would really appreciate it. thanks.

 

Go ask a local body shop they deal alot with totals and parting out cars.

it depends I say you shouldnt get get rid of it how bad is the damage if its really bad then get rid of it and get another one.

deal with your insurance company. did you buy it back?

you need to report the stolen plate to dmv.
