What kit did you do with?

 

I'm trying to buy an NX kit today. Probably the base EFI kit with 75 jets. Then I'm added FPR, fuel pump, ngk plugs, advanced timing and gauges.

 

Hey JeffC, that's a pretty stealth install for your nitrous setup. What was your 1/4mile time on and off the nitrous with your B20VTEC?

 

No times with nitrous. Its pretty usless cause I dont have slicks. I have only ran the 1/8 on the motor, but its not worth talking about. I am not a very good driver. I am trapping 73-74 in the 1/8th though.

I suggest that you throw a Digital 6 and BlasterSS in on that list.

You lost me. What are you saying?

I am not much of a drag racer so I am not sure if that is good or not. I was under the impression that trap speeds show how good the car is and that et's show how good the driver is. My et's suck and I am disappointed.

 

73-74MPH? in my eg hatch i was pulling 80-82 MPH in the 8th. i had a gsr swap with nothing but skunk2 mani and ecu. i think you need to practice or something is not right in your car. did you dyno it? whats the hp and tq #s?

Advance the timing with nitrous? Do you want to **** your pistons?

See, I knew my car sucked. There are a lot of variables to take into account, and I just dont race enough to worry about it. I am sure that the stock 91 civic si airbox, tube and filter dont help though. I havent dynoed it.

 

i used a stock airbox, i would take your car to a dyno. a built motor needs to be tuned, and im sure you can get better times than that. unless you cant drive at all which im hoping is not the case.
