Suspension question on Rex (Bilstein/H&R)
This might sound stupid but here I go. I have H&R race spring and bilstein shock. The front I have no problem but the rear give me a little headache. For the rear; do compressed-end go on the top or bottom? I put the compressed-end on the bottom which fit perfectly and the non-compressed-end to the top, the non-compressed-end is smaller in diameter so it doesn't fit at the bottom anyway. Well, everything fit fine except the letter and serial number is now up-side-down.
Now to the quality of the ride. It seem that every time I go on the driveway or similar my rear shock makes noise; sound like it moves. I think the spring, at uncompressed stage, is short than the stroke of the shock. It sound like I am riding on the pillowball mount, which bounces and makes noise in similar fashion.
