what have you guys heard about this sub? i know jl is at the top of their game so its gotta be a good one, but i just wanted to hear some opinions on it. thank you!

 

that sub is probably the best bang for you buck. i used to have two of the 10w3's on a punch 360 and they hit harder than two other ten's with that many watts in that price range. so 12w3 gets a

 

i found a place where i can get the 12w3's for pretty cheap and if enough people say they are good.. then im goin for them, the lil red teg will be bumpin

 

I have 3 12w3's and they bump very hard and loud. You can hear me coming 2-3 blocks away. JL w3's

 

for that price range i would rather have ARC sub. i used to own jl subs and have heard a lot of them to know how they sound and compare. but even then its still my opinion.

 

I just bought a 12w3v2 and i'm going to install it later today.. i'll post my thoughts about it.

 

i have a single 12 w3v1 in a custom ported box, no one i've ever let in my car has ever complained about that being the best sounding sub they've ever heard, and the only thing i can say is... i wanna put another one in

 

The Arc subs are still made by Image Dynamics Right? Last time I saw them at CES The Idq and Arc are the Same. I am a Image Dealer in Memphis and the IDQ12'' sounds better, plays lower and LOUDER than most subs in it price range ($239.99) The JL is a good sub, but with a foam surround I would be conserned with durablity.
