radiator fact you guys might not know
most of the guys in the EG forum where I frequented for all of my H-T "life" thus far know that I am a Parts Service Manager (PSM) at Auto Zone here in wilmington part time. full time I teach high school..............anyways, I needed a radiator for my 92' when i did my b16 swap, looked at our radiators, it was listed as two row in the computer, checked it out, sure enough it is thicker than a del sol dual core, but it is not a sperated "dual core" but a single core, two row if this makes sense. Well I yanked the motor out of my recent $100 acqusition (91' hb) and checked out the radiator and it was bad with deposits, evidence of someone who used alot of H2O and not enough antifreeze. So I priced the radiator at work, came up with this: http://www1.autozone.com/servl...C%7EB
It is $139.99, PN:432106 with a lifetime warrenty. The cool thing is it listed it as a 2 row. I thought, no way........opened the box, sure enough, just like the one on my 92' it is a single core two row, over double the width of the factory one. Well if any of you are wanting a cheaper upgrade of your stock radiator and not going with a $300 hi performance style radiator this is for you. Hopefully this info will help out a few of you guys.

and what I am putting my rad in!

or you can use a 90-93 integra rad... its twice as thick and bolts straight in. The rad hose connectors are for a B series so you can use B series rad hoses.

EXACTLY! I've posted this before. It may not have come up on a search because I was suggesting this on someone's previous post.

you do realize that radiator is for an automatic........notice the brass angled fittings for the trans lines? I've got one also and it sucks. leaks a bit and with my b16 and in 120 degree temps around here, I'm thinking about going to the EG radiator.
just my .02$
just my .02$
not really, I teach the agriculture/FFA classes, I turned my shop for my Ag. Technology class into a honda tech for a day!
any general replacement radiator is gonna be for an automatic, get plugs, seal em up and there you go, the antifreeze doesn't enter that tube anyways, no problem there.

Well, I'm only familiar with EF's and 90-93 tegs. But ALL the radiators I've seen for both models have the brass A/T cooler fittings. If you have a 5sp.
you just leave them capped. There is no seperate P/N for A/T - 5 sp. radiators for EF's or 2G tegs, in my experience. Thay are all the same.
Unless you talkin the Hi-Perf ones.

What? The fittings shouldn't leak.
I use the 90 teg auto rad 2 row, drops in....don't even have to touch the fittings.
anyhoo...nice write up.

so let me get this right your saying:
eg radiatior @ autozone is dual core but not sperated.
delsol is dual core and sperated
EF radiator @ autozone is dual core but not sperated and is thicker/more cooling capassity then OEM one.
But the DA 90-93 integra radiator works even better because it's OEM..... Is there a difference between auto and manuel DA radiator? i heard that i had to get a Auto one for it to work on my ef 5spd....
more info.
list which one is thicker and better

I don't buy OEM I buy it aftermarket $140 canadian
I always ask for the auto as I know they are dual core...I'm not sure if the 5spd is dual core and I don't want them to order it and it shows up as a single.
I don't want to jack your thread but heres a pic of a single core vs a dual(I think all the aftermarket duals are probaly the same width give or take.

To me both offer superior cooling. One radiator is a single core, two row, the other that you are used to is a dual core, single row in each core........make sense?
Dual Core: |_||_|
Single core
2 row: |_ _|
kinda like that. if you want to get technical the single core 2 row has the antifreeze over a larger surface area which could potentially give more heat dissapation. I am saying that both are great upgrades. Just you have the option of getting one at a parts house with a warrenty!
