Default Can My Alternator Hold Up?

Just wanna no if Im going to need to invest in a new alternator (which I dont have enough money for)

I will be runing:

2 12" Audiobahn AW1206T subs anda Clarion DPX 1000.2 Amp
Alipne cva 1004 headunit tv thing with a 6disc changer
Blue Neon underbody kit

Will I need a new alternator?

i would invest in a 1000 watt capacitor. they are like $120 or so, and available at crutchfield.com or at any car audio shop.

There are too many factors. Depends on how loud you keep it. You will definately get dimming at high volume, but I would do the install and then decide from there.

Capacitance is measured in Farads - not Watts. The old rule of thumb (developed by Richard Clark) is that for every 1kW of amplifier power, 1F of capacitance is about right.

Personally, I'd upgrade your underhood wiring (search for the magic 3) use the properly sized power wire, and boom responsibly and you should take it from there.
