i bought a USDM OBD1 p13 ecu and after i put it in it started acting up. At times it would get this huge lose of power, didnt matter what gear, vtec still always kicked in fine but it wouldnt happen all the time. Id be accelerating and all of a sudden i would get this big jerk and the car would hardly even move, i could floor it in 2nd gear going 30mph and it would barely accelerate almost like its cutting the fuel off to my car.

i have a buddy who has a 95 vtec so i took his out and put it in mine and it still did the same thing. Ive heard of other people doing the OBD swap and theres never had any problems, what could be the deal? i dont get it

 

im having probs with trying to go to obd1 ecu on a obd2 car as well...what exactly has to be done?
