I was wondering if i am right or wrong...and am hoping someone can clarify with pics or just imformation.

Does the climate control(s) from a 97 R have the slide for cool air (the blue section) or does it only have the heat slide (red section)? There is no AC button, i know, but i was wondering what it looked like?

Does anyone know? This is a strange question i know.....

How about the JDM control am i thinking of that?

should still have the blue section.

 

Everything is exactly the same except that there is no button on the right side that says AC on it. If you have the lever all the way to the left in the blue zone it is just pulling in the outside air wheather it is hot or cold it doenst care, it just isn't using any of the engine heat to warm the air.

but i remeber when the type r first came out i saw one in a parking lot and it did not have the blue section, maybe i was just dreaming, but i could have sworn that it was just set for the heat and the other section was for outside air but not blue.....i dont know.....anyone else?
