Mugen intake/header hp gains
Does anyone have the Mugen intake or header on their ITR? I would like to get them and want to know if anyone here has them. Is there a noticible difference or no? And, if you have the dynos or you know the hp gains and you let me know that'd be great. THX!!
Don't have sheets, but the mugen intake is as good as it gets. The header, you're better off saving yourself a couple hundred dollars and going with a header-tech, which will net you better gains than the Mugen header... Unless you want it for the bling BlAnG factor.

I gained 7 hp @ 8k rpm with the mugen intake. The difference in hp started from 5k rpm.
I made a video/sound clip of it:

I like the sound of it, except for the part throttle whistle.

You should see awesome numbers with that bolt-on setup.

sorry but it sounds like you already made up your mind that you are getting these because they have the word Mugen stamped on them (more for show as you say). If they made a certain hp, then was this going to be more justification for getting them to confirm your decision to spend more money than you have to or were you going to go for a part that said Spoon on it instead if that made more power? I'm not being a smart *** here. I'm just a little confused about the rationale of the post.
actually i do not have my mind made up. But my ITR is mostly show right now. I have jdm front, full c-west, bride seats with takata harnesses, and some other mods. I am going to go with one company on the bolt ons. Im not sure if I am going to use JUN Mugen Spoon or somethin else. But i was having trouble finding dynos for the Mugen stuff. So thanks for being i mean not being a smart ***.
I wan't trying to be mean. I just was curious and frankly, asking: what is the question here ? ...since you already made your mind up based on the rationale that it had to have a certain brand for show purposes? Thanks for clarifying. I'm not in the show scene and didn't realize that 1 brand from Japan throughout gives you extra points or something...
Well i thought it was quite obvious that certain companys would give you more show points than others. Say a AEM intake compared to a mugen intake. Which do you think looks better. Yes i realize AEM isnt jdm but some companys make better more show quality products. And Mugen is one of the top brands, since the owner of Mugen is the owner of Hondas son.
