Who makes a 40 series profile tire for a 15 inch rim?
I have never herd of a 40 series tire for a 15 inch rim, but i know on ebay they have a 45 series tire. thats pretty small for a 15" rim. I have 50 series on my rims and they look pretty good, but 45's look better. If you do find any 40's let me know.

THe only company i know that makes them , or so ive heard is dunlop. and it is supposedly a 40 series, just hard finding anyone that stockes them, im gonna do some calling around this week and try to locate a set or two.
why do you want them? if you put 40 series tires on 15" rims, aren't you gonna mess the circumfrance up on the tire?? your tire will be shorter than OEM, and your speedo will be off..??
depending on the width of the tire he runs, the 40 series tire might not be too small.
i do agree that running a 195 or even 205 wide tire with a 40 series tire would be smaller than stock.

A 195/50/15 will have a shorter sidewall than a 205/50/15, so you might want to consider that instead.
If you get too short of a sidewall on a 15" rim, you'll seriously reduce the tires load capacity. Plus, you'll need to pretty much match the rim width dead even with the tire width because there will be little to no ability for the sidewall to give since it is so short.
No one makes the tire because it's a dumb idea, unless it was a 235/40/15 or something, but that would be hard to stuff under a Honda and I'm sure nto sell very well for the manu.

Nitto's drag tires come in a 205/45/15. The 555 series, take a look at that.

Besides that I've had the 450's before and they were awesome.... I couldn't peal out at all, soooooo much traction.
