Default And the winner is . . . . .

Above the fuel filter is a good spot.

You must have the correct bolt for this though. The fuel filter is the can that is at a 115 degree angle on the firewall next to the battery.

C-Speed Racing has a good how-to.

the autometer kit should have come with a new banjo bolt to replace the stock one right abot the fuel filer. like this...

I have the mechanical gauge. all that came was the gauge and a 90° fitting to go on the back of the gauge. My kit didnt come with a setup like yours does right on the filter. That looks like the setup for the electrical gauge??

The mechanical isnt supposed to be mounted inside the car.

Default Question

Strng1dah:

Are you using the orange air compressor hose for an Oil Catch Can?

How does it hold up to engine temps?

If not, what are you using it for?

Thanks,
Karl

You can mount the mechanical gauge inside the car with use of a fuel isolator. it sends a water/coolant mixture instead of fuel inside the car. I have this, and it takes a 4an line. I just need somewhere to hook the 4an line into the fuel system somewhere..

Thanks...I think i'm just gonna drill into the bolt like you did, and put a 90° 4an fitting on the end of it. that was a good idea.
