i wanna kno if the Tanabe Racing Medallion is good, and if it is really too loud...and how does it sound like....cause i like the deep low tone...and quite....not a high pitch, loud sound....

 

Dood if you are a N/A GSR than the Tanabe Racing Medallion will sound deep and bassy up to 4800rpms.

After that when you are near V-tec range and in V-tec range than your GSR will sound like a loud *** motorcycle that is gunning it to 14,400rpms.

I didn't realize how fukking high pitch the sound was until I was driving my friend's ITR and he was driving my GSR.

HOWEVER, if you go force induction like me....
The Tanabe Racing Medallion sounds like a monster and wouldn't want to have
any other exhaust except for a 3" Thermal hehehehe

Sounds so-so N/A but sounds like a ferocious beast when turboed!

Oh yeah the Tanabe Racing Medallion is a 2.5" exhaust which is the bare minimum
for FI.

P.S. - Make sure you have earplugs for passengers that sit in back if you have a hatchback. They are going to go deaf.

Oh yeah another thing, at 130+ mph (with a turbo) my exhaust sounds different also. It's like I get 3 different sounds with it depending on my speed.

 

I have a tanabe rm on my hybrid hatch with a gsr motor. The resonator blew after 4 months. I agree the sound is nice and deep, until you are in the 5K rpm range, then it howls.

 

i have RM also on my GSR and its pretty stock. its pretty loud when u hit vtec. its pretty cool, but im running w/ the silincer on. i take it off and on whenever i get bored.
