I was expecting a large bang during some point in the video but that wasn't the case. Just alot of smoke after the engine dies.

It almost sounds like it over revved on the downshift into the left hander.

Sorry for being such a god damn noob at this but, When exactly does it go? Right as you revved/downshifted it or was it right when you hear peices of **** hitting the car?

He got it into 3rd gear, and then it let go. It was probably already bent/bending/failing and the decleration of the motor in 3rd gear probably was the last straw. The pieces hitting under the car are probably chunks of engine block and rocks from being off-line on track.

damn warren, good thing you came to a good rest instead of in the wall. i saw you sitting out there. i was wondering what was wrong, then i saw the tow truck. and i knew it was bad.

i saw the motor up close, i must say, looks like someone was hungry. didnt get to see the hole tho. (didnt know about the hole til later)

 

I hope that never happens to me.

There's no pop... although sounds like warren breathed off the throttle a bit.
