Default Mini me question

Hey guys, I posted this in the Tech forum too but thought you guys might be able to help as well... Anyway, I did some searching about mini-mes and a lot of people say that it is a PITA to use my D16A6 Dizzy with a Z6 head... Can someone break it down for me and tell me what exactly is involved in using this Dizzy/Head combo...

TIA,
JAson

Im not sure which one your suppose to cut off exactly but in order for the A6 dizzy to mount onto the Z6 head you have to cut one of the legs off in order for it to mate right...Do you have the Z6 head already? Cause if not if you happen to pick up a Y8 head for the mini-me the A6 dizzy bolts right up to that head but there have been people that say that the Y8 head doesnt flow as well as the Z6 head though.

if you switch to a P28 you can use the Z6 dist
other than that you have no other options
I used a long skinny bolt with a couple of washers and a nut to hold on the dist. Holds tight and still allows for adjustment

Here is how I mounted a A6 dizzy to a Z6 head. It's not pretty, and probably not the best way, but the car starts and runs.
