new clutch break in?
See how long you can slip the clutch for before it grabs
hehe j/k
On a more serious note - when you break in a clutch you want to keep off redline to redline shifts and compression braking (rev matching). The best thing you can do belive it or not is drive in stop and go traffic. The engaging and disengaging is what will help it to break in. Do this for about 500miles and you should be good to go. When you engage it tho - don't snap it in -- ease it in - slipping it a little will help the pressure plate mesh with the flywheel contact surface. Then you have to do the 3rd gear chirp test hehe. Good luck

YEAH 500 MILES OF street DRIVING, NOT 500 MILES OF NEVER SHIFTING.
whooops caps lock, saw-weeeeee.
yeah have fun driving 500 street miles, it was torture for me... I just wanted to rip thru the gears and launch it every stop, but it pays off to avoid that in the long run.

500 miles is what is recommended. BUT my Clutchmasters stage 1 actually took closer to about 1000 STOP AND GO miles for it to properly brake in. I had alot of shuddering and it took me a while to get used to.
Oh yeah, make sure you downshift also when coming to stops. It helps break it in just slightly a bit faster...

how did you know your clutch wasn't broken in at 500 miles? Mine feels perfect already (100 miles stop and go) If you downshifted at all your stops and your clutch took twice as long to break in, i prolly won't do that
i stopped downshifting about 6 months ago, while i had my old clutch to try to save what was left of it.
