Default EX head on LX block?

The head on my 93 LX has some problems (leaky rocker towers, bad cam seals, bad spark plug tube seals). I've found what seems to be a pretty good deal on a 93 EX head(much cheaper than replacing the rocker tower). What I'm wondering is if there are any issues in swapping an EX head onto the LX block.

TIA

It should work. there isnt toooooo much of a difference between those heads... maybe the exhaust and intake manifolds might not line up but i think you should be ok.

Wow!! That's a great write-up, but I'm swapping a non-vtec 93 EX head onto a non-vtec 93 LX block. Hopefully it'll be easier than that.....

You shouldn't have any problems. As far as I know, the heads were very similar, if not identical (if I'm wrong, somebody please correct me). The only difference was in the exhaust manifold.
