Switched ECU's and now car wont start, help!
I took a PR3 ecu out of my buddies 90 hatch that has a B16 swap, and wanted to see if we could get vtec to kick in on my 90 crx, which has a B16 in it also, but runnung a PM6. I took my crx out with the new ECU and vtec sputered on and off, so I then bring it back home. I remove the ECU, put it back into the hatch, and now the hatch wont start. I pulled a few fuses out that would relate to the problem, but all are good. Is there any way I fried the entire PR3 ECU? Or am I not looking in the right places for a faulty piece? The most obvious problem now is I dont thinkthe fuel pump is priming, and I checked with my multimeter and its only reading two volts! Any ideas? thanks
running your car with the PM6, did you have all the extra wires to run B16, like 2nd O2 etc? Any codes? Is there power to your ecu? Check all your fuses (under dash), related or not, just to be sure.
