It was outside on the street. About 1:45. I was tired, but I thought I heard my exhaust. I thought it was the old civic across the street. Then I noticed, this sound is from a manual. Look outside and no car. Ran outside. I could hear them leaving a block away. Damn dead clutch was not slipping enough yet, or they would have been toast.

I don't know who it was. ****. I think I will need to find a new car. I might take you up on that POS eclipse 8053

Did you have insurance coverage, I know atleast that my insurence will cover "replacement cost" (rocks cause much of what I got was at 1/2 price on Ebay) For anything that was "permenentaly installed" in your car.

 

Mine covers up to 2k worth of stuff. I had about 2k worth of stuff in the car and rims. So hopefully I get the full 2k.

i'm sorry to hear that. i'm headed to chicago for the weekend and am really paranoied of my car getting broken into or worse since it will have to be parked on the street a few blocks away from my buddies house.

A guyu that used to steal cars before he went to jail told me to never buy a Honda Civic because they were the easiest to steal, but yea that does hurt. I had mine stolen about 2 years ago.

 

I guy I know can open old school civics ( early 90's) with the card board flap off a case of beer. eek !

 

theres a lesson here if you dont want to get jacked dont buy a civic or integra there the highest on the list of cars jacked

 

Sorry to here your car got jacked.

Integra's were the #1 car in my area stolen. Which is one of the reasons I bout the NSX.

I'm really sorry to hear about that man...it's a tough feeling when something like that gets taken, but at least it's only material...you can always replace it.
