Default Look what came in to my work today

I came to work (Acura) today and there was a rsx in front of my stall. I try to start it to move it in to my stall and it sounds like the motor has seized. I have a bad feeling because a rsx came in last week with a valve float and burnt piston. So I get one of my co workers to help push it in and there is oil all over the back of the car, bad sign right? I lift up the car and what do I see. If you cant tell from the pictures they threw a rod through the block and you can see the valves from the bottom of the block. Sorry for the shitty quality. I took the pics with my phone

its most of the new rsx owners thinking they're fast. I saw a white one the other day and he kept revving at me. I ignored him so he stepped on it and ran the red light while I stopped for it. totally morons.

I have heard that a lot of problems come from mishitting, the gears are really close and they accidentally down shift. I actually know of 2 people that have had this problem so far.

I've read 2 or 3 stories about people when they went to race someone and they miss shifted . The pictures they had wasnt nothing left of the block and head. There was parts all in the oil pan.

Looks like they missed a downshift.

I've never had a problem with a misshift or anything and I have a real short throw. maybe people need to learn about driver position and shifting.

Well of course they do it while racing, they do need to get the hang of the short gear box before racing people . I actually had a guy in a white one mess with me a little. He thought his car was all bad, my car would of destroyed his and then I would of laughed at him.

thats crazy! So what is the shop doing about it? Free? Costly? etc, etc What do you do when you suggest it was caused by racing and the customer claims it wasn't?

****....... honda needs to set up the pattern like

R 1 3 5
__2 4 6

instead of the other way that might prevent idiots from mis shifting and if they mis shift on that pattern then... damn.

I have read a few stories like that also. One was a pic of the car on the side of the highway with a huge oil trail behind it.
